The Lowdown

This beautiful, newly renovated, simple cottage is set within walking distance of the beach of Llangrannog, it is cosy cottage with all the comforts of home -  its great that its off the beaten track down a little track with bubble of the little stream by the front garden (please take care with small children here), its only a 5 minute stroll to the Blue Flag rated beaches and the Ceredigion Coastal Path, where dolphins and seals are regular visitors.


There is a little garden to the rear to relax in when you've returned from the beach and enjoy alfresco dining.


Langrannog village has many amentities including two pubs, and two cafes serving homemade produce and fresh fish when in season. (see below) for more details about what to do  and a (Sea & Slate)  art gallery which sells local artisans work

Located near the shores of Cardigan Bay and the coastal path - famous for dolphin and seal watching!

Llangrannog - Small fishing village and beach - you are there!

Pentre Arms  -  Llangrannog. Traditional family pub, winner of Food Awards 2 years  running! Live music and great views of the sea from huge picture window (closest pub to the sea in Wales!) in Llangrannog.

The Beach Hut - Llangrannog. Fab, funky beach-side restaurant serving good home made  food and fresh fish from the Bay (when in season - also (check opening  times on website in winter months).

The Ship Inn, Llangrannog - bar and restaurant pub.

Sea & Slate Gallery, Llangrannog - Teeny gallery featuring local artists and artisans hand made gifts and art - 1 mile.

Pizza Tipi  - An amazing outdoor Tipi (with fire pit to keep toasty) on the banks  of the River Teifi Cardigan, serving the 'best home made pizzas in  Wales'! (check opening times on website in Winter months) Cardigan about  10 miles away.

El Salsa -  Bringing Award winning Mexican street food to Wales! (check opening  times on website in Winter months) - Cardigan about 10 miles away.

Penbryn - National Trust beach - 2.5 mile (via coastal path 1 mile)

Plwmp Tart  - Penbryn NT beach - delicious home made cakes and lunches, open every  day in the summer - check FB page for Winter opening times.

New Quay - beach and boat trips to watch dolphins - around 15 minute drive away.

Llanerchaeron - National Trust Estate - around 20 minute drive

Aberaeron - Fishing harbour, fabulous restaurants and shopping - 8 miles away

Welsh Wildlife Centre - Otters and Glasshouse cafe (award for architectural design in 1993) - 11 miles away.

Heritage Canoes - Canoes, kayaking and wind surfing - 11 miles away.

National Woollen Museum - History of Welsh weaving and Spinning in the Museum, cafe and shop.

Directions : Drive down to Llangrannog on the B4334 into the village. Turn round outside the shop, ( not in the Ship car park ), and drive back up the way you came for 100 yards, take the right fork immediately after the small craft shop and tin shed on your right, and opposite the pink house. Continue past the first row of cottages and take the right fork onto the gravel track. You will see parking spaces on the right with your parking space opposite on the left in front of the garage doors with 2 patio doors above it. Y Rallt is the first house on the lane from the parking area. The key safe is located on the right of the grey door . Key code : 6348

We had a wonderful time

We had a wonderful time here in Llangrannog and in this beautiful cottage. Had everything we needed and more !.Loved how near we were to the beach and our bikes allowed us to easily reach places up and down the coast. Recommend the Hut for food and the beach for surfing. Will be back. . Thank you !!

Such a fabulous stay

Such a fabulous stay.. thank you so much. The perfect spot to explore the area - so easy to get to Penbryn/Mwnt/ Aberaeron etc. and such a lovely place to relax in the evenings. Thank you for bringing Mancala back into our lives.. such a great game! P.S Best Shower ever!!
