This lovely renovated 1930's cottage seriously has the designer WOW factor! - Its been beautifully renovated by its designer owner from a ruin into a contemporary 'New England' style residence. It has been photographed and has graced the pages of Coast Magazine, Country Living amonst others.

We love Ty Y Mor for its relaxed and sylish feel - the perfect place to take a well earned break and chill.
Aberporth has much to offer - There are fabulous beaches and the coastal path runs through the village, walk to the little village of Tresaith to the Ship Inn with good food and views of the sea.

Cardigan Bay is full of amazing attractions and wildlife adorns the coast, dolphins can be seen regularly from the beach or coastal path. There is plenty to do - you can park up and relax!

Arrival Instructions
Travelling from Synod Inn take the main A487 Cardigan Road for 8.6 miles until you reach the turning for Aberporth B4333 ( just after the Gogerddan Petrol Station). Follow this road all the way to Aberporth. You will then proceed on to Banc y Dyffryn road until you see Morlan Guest House on the left.
Follow the road around to the left of Morlan Guest House and you will find Ty y Mor down the road on the left. Key code 3009.

I’m Caryl the owner of the property.
Thank you for choosing to visit Aberporth, we know you will enjoy your stay!
We hope that you enjoy a present from Wales that we have left for you, along with some milk, tea and coffee.
We will outline some of the workings of the house but if you have any problems please feel free to call me on my mobile.
CHECK IN CHECK OUT
Arrival is at 4.00 PM
Please can you leave the property by 11.00 AM at the latest.
Please leave it in a tidy state as you found it.
COVID 19 GUIDE LINES
Sea and Slate will send you a separate notice
Bedlinens and towels should be put into plastic bags and left on the floor
Dishwasher should be run.
TOWELS
There are towels for your use but please do not take to the beach
WASHING LINE
There is a spiral washing line next to the garage and pegs are in a pot by the back door.
LOGS
We provide a bag of logs for the wood burning stove.
Should you need more there are a few outside on the back deck and please leave a donation that you deem appropriate for the amount you use.
Please DO NOT use the decorative logs next to the wood burner, they have been cut to fit the storage space!
DISHWASHER
The 30 -minute quick cycle is best to use.
Press the far left on button and then the far-right button twice.
It does say refill salt but has done since we installed it!
HEATING
The heating will be set on a timer by Abbie who helps me run the house.
This will be set in accordance to the weather but if it’s too warm then switch off the radiators in the rooms.
The living room and kitchen have under floor that is controlled by a switch and a dial and is best left alone
HOT WATER
This is on a timer and is sufficient for normal use. Should you need an occasional boost there is a button on the control pad outside the main bathroom, marked H/W
Please DO NOT switch it on the main fuse box.
KITHCHEN HOB.
There gas bottles for the hob on the left-hand side of the house facing the sea.
There is a spare tank.
KEYS
Please replace the key back in the key-lock and swivel the dial.
There are 2 sets of keys hanging up by the side door on the left as you come in.
Please replace them there as you leave.
Any lost keys will be charged at £20 a set.

BOSE
There is a Bose stand for a mobile phone with a more current adaptor
GARDEN
Please feel free to dead-head any flowers that are struggling and water the garden if dry and you feel like it!
OUTDOOR SEATING
There are a few outdoor Adirondack chairs and a bench that you can place some of the sack-cloth cushions.
Please bring them in after use as they are NOT water-proof
OUTDOOR SHOWER
This is on a timer, the tap below is good for washing sand off and washing dogs.
FIREPIT
Please provide your own logs
BBQ
You can buy charcoal in the village and most petrol stations
CALOR GAS TANK
Please do not have any fires around the tank, only on the stone deck!
DOGS
We have secured the property as best we can but please be aware that a dog could squeeze through a hedge or fence and we can’t be responsible if they manage to escape.
The driveway gate should be closed at all times when you are in the house as a precaution.
Please do not allow your dog on the furniture or beds.
MARBLE TOP KITCHEN TABLE
Please do not place anything hot on the table directly.
RECYCLING
The bottles are placed in the red bin
Recycling is in the clear bags as marked
Black bin rubbish is in the other bin.
Bins go out on a Wednesday.
There is a recycling schedule on the table
BOOK AND MAPS AND STUFF!
Ty Y Mor has been my home for over 14 years and have acquired may souvenirs in my travels before in the Med and Caribbean.
I feel you need to trust the world and so I have left many personal books and “stuff” that I know you will respect and read, admire and leave!
If you are in the middle of a paperback book just let me know if you take it!

You may find on arrival there are fewer or no games/ books or DVDs,CDs and ornaments at the property. This is because these items are quite time consuming or difficult to disinfect and we do not want to delay your arrival more than is necessary, so they may have been removed.
You might want to bring such items yourself from home.

When you arrive, if your property has a dishwasher, you may find this full of clean crockery etc. This way you can be confident that the items are clean and have not been touched by anyone.
Whilst at the property:
It is suggested by the Welsh Government that you wash your hands regularly, as handwashing remains the best defence for infection prevention. While in the community please remember to practice safe social distancing.

On Departure
Please strip the beds, pillow-cases, sheets and duvet covers, mattress and pillow protectors and place the dirty linen and towels into the bags provided. Please load the dish-washer (if there is one) fully with everything you have used and set it going before you leave (no need to unload it).
Empty all bins and dispose of your rubbish in the appropriate recycling bin.
Local waste and recycling centres have strict guidelines during this time on disposal of rubbish. We advise that you please separate rubbish –glass in one bag, plastics in another, paper in another and non-recyclable in another and food waste in another. Recycling is very important in Ceredigion/ Carmarthenshire & Pembrokeshire and we ask please that you do this to assist our housekeepers
