The Lowdown

This gorgeous and romantic little tin barn is more of a luxurious camping experience than a 'run of the mill' holiday cottage - you will be truly at one with nature here!

It is not surprising that Joanne O'Connor the (Observer Travel Editor) recommends it as the perfect place for 'an affordable romantic break with views and a log fire' (2012).

(blogger extraordinaire)

Little Barn has a cosy and welcoming feel and is a quintessential romantic escape. Wake up to views across the beautiful pond teeming with its mix of wildlife making you feel truly at one with nature.

Located near both Newport, Poppit and Ceibwr sands - lush countryside and golden beaches abound at Little Barn - the best of both worlds!

''The cottage and barn have fires, plump pillows, period furniture and views of 347-metre tall Carningli mountain. Meadows full of orchids in spring can be seen from your window, while horses peep over the open fences. The landscaping here provides true inspiration for wild gardening.' The Guardian

Conservation is at the heart of this lovely barn, renovated to reveal its original dairy, open fireplaces and natural wood flooring. Read an independent guest blog with real holiday photos from photographer Emma Bradshaw who booked Little Barn together with Ty Glas, next door.

A487 past Cardigan towards Fishguard. About 2 miles after Cardigan you turn off right at CROFT onto the B4582. About three miles along there you come to a little cross roads.. Melin Farchog to the left and Moylegrove to the right. ( There is lots of blue piping on the corner of cross roads and a little cottage on the Felindre road). At this junction, turn right. The Little Barn is the first entrance about 5 hundred yards along, after a bend in the road. You now need to look for WAUNBAYVIL on the gate, (well most of it) and a green dustbin. Long track down.
If you prefer you can keep on the A487 and then turn right in Felindre Farchog to Moylegrove. Then go straight across the little cross roads at the top.
Go over the cattle grid, down a long windy track. Drive slowly as there are gulleys across the track to deviate the water in times of heavy storms. At the end of the tracks a small parking area in front of you, which accommodates two cars. On the left you will see The Little Barn and straight ahead is Ty Glas (Blue cottage) you will be able to park straight ahead (car park for two). To gain access put your finger through the hole ( under the flap) lift the latch and relax (please come to the big barn if you need any help).
Have a lovely time and please let me know if you need any further information.
Many thanks
