This little Georgian terraced cottage in the heart of beautiful Aberaeron yards from the sea is perfectly located to enjoy the scenery, sea and the culinary delights that this little picturesque town has to offer. It is situated close to all of its fabulous restaurants and cafes ... all within a short walk away. Nestled between the harbour and the sea, this is an absolute gem!
This stylish cottage has recently been fully renovated and includes everything you need for a relaxing stay by the beach.
We are proud to have this cottage on our books - Aberaeron is an amazing destination, with some of the best Restaurants and Cafes in the area, they serve fresh fish throughout the year including Oysters and Lobster when in season.
A trip to Aberaeron is not complete without enjoying award winning fish n' chips straight out of the bag whilst sitting on the harbour wall!
The Ceredigion coastal path runs for 60 miles virtually past your doorstep - and the gorgeous sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay are within 4 miles of this lovely cottage - so you are very lucky to have the best of both worlds.

Picnic Basket and blankets also supplied.
LIVING ROOM : 4 seater sofa and armchair.
The two bedrooms have lovely en suite facilities - In addition, each bedroom has an individual staircase leading up to them - ensuring privacy for each bedroom
There are 'Zip Link' beds in this room therefore this can be used for a couple as a superking bed or split to two x 3ft wide singles. (Please let us know what you require when booking).

From Aberystwyth : Follow the A487 south along the coastal road until you reach Aberaeron.
As you drive into Aberaeron town carry on past the bus stop on the right and just after the traffic lights you will see a turning to the right just next to the Castle Hotel.
Take this turn and carry on past Cost cutters on the right and the New Celtic Chip shop on the left - keep going straight ahead past the harbour car parking area until you get on to Tabernacle Street. Ty Pen is number 11 on the left just before the small carpark located by the sea wall.
From Cardigan :
Follow the A487 North from Cardigan until you reach Aberaeron.
As you drive into Aberaeron town carry on past the church on the right down to the bridge. Take the first turning to the left just after the stone bridge by The Castle Hotel.
Keep straight on past Cost cutters on the right and the New Celtic Chip shop on the left - keep going straight ahead past the harbour car parking area until you get on to Tabernacle Street. Ty Pen is number 11 on the left just before the small carpark located by the sea wall.
The door key box code will be set to 0504 and is situated to the right of the front door - you will find a key to the front door inside.
New covid-19 check in rules state a check-in time of 5pm . However, could be earlier on request.
We look forward to welcoming you to Aberaeron - the town has opened itself up over the past few weeks and the shops are open and most cafes and resteraunts are offering food and drink. However, due to new cleaning guidelines please note that we have had to remove most soft furnishings from the cottage as well as the likes of tea, coffee and sugar.

You may find on arrival there are fewer or no games/ books or DVDs,CDs and ornaments at the property. This is because these items are quite time consuming or difficult to disinfect and we do not want to delay your arrival more than is necessary, so they may have been removed.
You might want to bring such items yourself from home.

It is suggested by the Welsh Government that you wash your hands regularly, as handwashing remains the best defence for infection prevention. While in the community please remember to practice safe social distancing.

If you become unwell with the symptoms of COVID-19and are advised to have a COVID-19test

Please strip the beds, pillow-cases, sheets and duvet covers, mattress and pillow protectors and place the dirty linen and towels into the bags provided. Please load the dish-washer (if there is one) fully with everything you have used and set it going before you leave (no need to unload it).
Empty all bins and dispose of your rubbish in the appropriate recycling bin.
Local waste and recycling centres have strict guidelines during this time on disposal of rubbish. We advise that you please separate rubbish –glass in one bag, plastics in another, paper in another and non-recyclable in another and food waste in another. Recycling is very important in Ceredigion/ Carmarthenshire & Pembrokeshire and we ask please that you do this to assist our housekeepers
