The Lowdown

This stunning renovated 18th Century flour mill is JUST newly renovated! It has fabulous gardens, with lovely views over the valley and only a stone's throw from Cardigan Bay, the coastal path and the fabulous beaches of West Wales.

Welcome to our beautiful converted Mill (Y Felin) near the sea! - We hope that you will it love as much as we do! The mill was originally built on the site in the 1700's and has undergone several incarnations through its long and varied history. We have hopefully put the original character back into the place and lovingly sourced a contemporary and traditional mix of furniture to make this special place the perfect escape for a romantic break or family holiday.

There is peace and quiet in abundance here, you can enjoy the tranquility and the birdsong. (at night, as there is little light pollution, you can gaze at the stars) Relax and drink in the lovely country views or take a trip to the coast which is only a short drive away. There are wonderful sites to enjoy in this area including watching dolphins from the beaches which are close by.

There are lovely country walks from the door and the coastal path and beautiful beaches of Cardigan Bay are only a few minutes away.

The perfect place for coastline & countryside

This beautiful old mill has been converted with real style by Charlie and Spot - we loved the open living space, mix of modern and traditional touches, and fantastic wood burner. The back garden is a great space to hang out in. Local goodies on arrival were an added bonus, and Charlie and Spot hooked us up with all the info we needed. It’s perfectly placed for access to the coastline and the countryside, made a great base for our bank holiday weekend. Special!

We had the best time ever in Wales. The Mill has been beautifully, sympathetically, restored to welcome guests. Charlie and Spot are a highly creative couple using local craftsmen and artists to enhance the perfect interior design. All the everyday gagets are there including local amazing coffee left for us to indulge! The location is perfect for walking, beach very close, a peaceful place to rest and enjoy the wonderful birdsong including ducks! You will also spot the wild orchids in the garden. This is an absolute gem, well done, it has to be a must stay place for everyone!
