The Lowdown

Within a 5 minute walk of the popular and picturesque seaside village of Llangrannog, Cardigan you will  find Festri Uchaf which is a beautifully converted upper half of the old village vestry.

The sister property below named Festri Isaf has also been converted into a self catering property, therefore both combined can sleep up to 14 guests which is ideal for friends  and family get togethers!!

The interior of this stone building has been renovated and refurbished to a very high standard without loosing a lot of it's original features. It's open plan design give the whole building a modern light and airy feel.

The beautifully crafted solid oak floors, staircase and sash windows just add to it's charm.

Outside you will find an enclosed garden with decking area that houses a lovely painted Summerhouse which can provide the ideal play room for the kids or the perfect bit of escapism for the adults! Either way its a beautifully area to relax and enjoy some evening sunshine.

Llangrannog itself is a stunning little cove with two great pubs, two fabulous cafes, a shop and our very own Sea and Slate gallery which exhibits local arts and crafts (well worth a peek at!)

Aberaeron an historic Georgian town is only 13 miles away with great boutique shops, restaurants and cafes.

The coastal village of New Quay is within 11 miles with sandy beaches, great fish and chips, shops and bars and the market town of Cardigan with it's newly restored Castle, shops, cafes and supermarkets  is also only 12 miles from the property.

Your property will be clean and tidy upon arrival.

In light of the Coronavirus, we are asking our homeowners to instruct their housekeepers to focus more on items that are frequently touched e.g. door handles, keys, remote controls, radios, light switches and bedside lamp switches which should be cleaned and wiped thoroughly with anti-bacterial disposable wipes.

Current NHS guidance is that Coronavirus is most commonly transmitted via human-to-human contact and cannot survive on surfaces for long but we consider this additional cleaning a sensible precaution.

We would suggest that you wash your hands regularly, as handwashing remains the best defence for infection prevention.

If you have any further concerns, we recommend that you bring your own anti-bacterial wipes and anti-bacterial handwash with you.

If you do fall ill during your stay and suspect Coronavirus, or do so soon after travelling home, please do notify us immediately.

If you develop symptoms whilst you are on holiday

Self isolate

Call 111if your symptoms get worse or persist

Visitors should inform Sea & Slate and/or the owner of property

We sadly are unable to refund you for your holiday if for any reason you cancel your break within 8 weeks arrival period – We strongly advise that you check your terms on your travel insurance as to how you may be affected if you are forced to cancel

Wishing you a healthy and happy stay

Local waste and recycling centres have strict guidelines during this time on disposal of rubbish. We advise that you please separate rubbish –glass in one bag, plastics in another, paper in another and non-recyclable in another and food waste in another. An excellent location...

An excellent location, just a short walk up from the beach, 2 pubs and a couple of restaurants-all serving very good food! Plenty to do and see in the area, including some spectacular NT coastline. The accommodation was exceptional, high standard and very well appointed-would definately recommend and would return!

Fantastic property...

After a last minute booking change to this property - two extra family members decided they wanted to come - it was fantastic! Not only was Spot amazingly helpful for changing our booking, but we arrived and there was a christmas tree up and bottle of prosecco in the fridge waiting for us - you'd already won me over!! The Chapel was stunning, the rooms comfortable, the beds fantastic and plenty of room for the kids to play. We enjoyed how close it was to the beach and spent our days getting up late, playing on the beach, having a pub lunch, more beach fun, then an icecream and then a movie and tea back at the house, and a couple of glasses of wine once the kids were in bed! Amazingly relaxing area, and beautiful scenery - highly recommend :)
